The blogging habit and bad pants

As much as the whole concept of doing one brave thing a day became tiresome to me around the eight-month mark, the lack of a concept makes it hard to know what to write now.

So I’ve decided to post something every Monday, Wednesday and Friday and hope for the best. Forcing myself to post means settling for crappy posts (like this one!), but I need to get back into the habit.

So this is me, with not much to say, forcing myself to blog. There, I did it.

I leave you with this clip from the movie, Labyrinth, mostly because Sarah recently told me that David Bowie can’t sing and (in this movie) wears bad pants. Made me chuckle.

Have a good weekend.

Those are some BAD pants! Chest-high is never a good idea.

  2. The pants are the least of his trouble. How can he have the nerve to show up in public with that hairstyle, those absurd characters and that non-voice? BYW, he can’t act either.

  3. As I visit you now, there is an interloping video underneath the one you shared, with the word ‘advertisement’ hovering over it, small and pale on the left. I wish WordPress would set these apart somehow from the body of our posts. The thought of something like this cropping up on a serious post makes me cringe.

  4. Those are mom jeans. I am pretty sure.

I wouldn’t call this a crappy post at all. You just need to get your groove. And feel Groovy!

Ah, so good to have you back! I do the same thing – try to post Mon/Wed/Fri (or 3 days/week – sometimes those days don’t work out)! Sometimes it’s a struggle, sometimes I’m able to plan several ahead. I’m still not sure if it’s better to have a concept or not. Since I got rid of the Go Guilty Pleasures name, I do feel a little more freedom (but that’s scary, too)!
